Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

3walls Ltd treats the accessibility of this site as part of the work itself rather than an addition to it. We put continuing effort into letting everyone, including people with disabilities, browse the site, read its content and get in touch with us — independently, safely and comfortably.

This statement describes the state of the site's accessibility as at the date shown on this page, including what is not yet accessible.

The standard

This site is built to the Israeli standard ת"י 5568 חלק 1 (Israeli Standard 5568, part 1), at conformance level AA.

What has been made accessible

  • Semantic structure — every page has a correct heading structure and labelled navigation regions, so a screen reader can move between the parts of a page.
  • Keyboard operation — the site can be navigated and its links, buttons and forms operated with the keyboard alone, and the focus indicator stays visible throughout.
  • Focus management — when a part of the page opens or closes, focus moves to the right place rather than being left adrift.
  • Skip to content — every page carries a Skip to content link at the top, revealed on Tab, that jumps past the navigation.
  • Colour contrast — contrast has been checked across the site, including where text sits over video or an image. Those are exactly the places automated checks skip, so they were measured separately and are pinned by tests on the code itself.
  • Reduced motion — for anyone whose operating system is set to reduce animation, the site reduces or removes its own motion to match.
  • Full right-to-left support — the Hebrew side of the site is built RTL throughout, rather than a translation pushed into a left-to-right layout.

How to use the text version

A Text version link appears at the top of the main site pages — the home page and the room, globe, console, contact and demo pages. The articles and these legal documents are already plain text pages, so they do not carry it.

Following the link replaces the display with a text version of that page: no 3D and no animation, readable by a screen reader and operable from the keyboard. Each one carries the page's heading and description, our contact details, and links to the rest of the site. How much of the page's own content comes with that differs from page to page — on the pages that present a 3D view it is brief, and the section below says what is there on each of them.

It is reversible: a Back to the 3D version link is present throughout, and returns you to the full display.

The text version is also shown automatically to anyone browsing on a device that cannot run the 3D display, together with an explanation of why.

Visual experiences, and what the text version covers

Parts of this site present interactive 3D experiences — the room, the globe and the console — which are visual by nature, and so are not available to a screen reader and cannot be operated fully by keyboard.

A text version is reachable from each of those pages and reversible at any moment. What it carries differs by page, and we would rather say so than let you find out: on the room page it describes the space in several paragraphs, while on the globe and console pages it carries the page's heading, a one-line description and our contact details. It is not a textual equivalent of what the 3D view itself shows.

So if there is anything in one of those views you need, please contact us. We will describe it, or supply it in whatever channel suits you.

How we tested

  • Automated testing against the running site — the site is checked with the axe testing engine, using its full rule set, including the best-practice group that most checks leave out. The check runs against the site after it has loaded and in its interactive states, not only on the first screen.
  • Lighthouse — the Lighthouse accessibility score is measured on every build of the site, with a pass threshold of 0.95 or above. A build that falls below it fails.
  • Contrast over media — measured by hand and pinned in the code's own tests, as noted above, because automated checks cannot measure it.
  • What has not been done — no external accessibility survey by a certified accessibility consultant has been carried out for this site. We say so plainly, so that this statement reflects the position as it actually stands.
